Island Lake in Orangeville could see a name change, and the town wants your input.
It’s been called Island Lake for years by locals, but mapping systems don’t recognize it.
Now the man made body of water in Orangeville could be officially renamed that.
The Ontario Geographic Names Board is conducting a survey of local residents and businesses to determine if it's the right name.
On map systems it's called the "Orangeville Reservoir".
