Huron-Bruce Tory MPP Says Rural Issues Of Concern To PCs

Huron-Bruce | by Peter Jackson

Lisa Thompson says rural issues will be apart of Progressive Conservative agenda, ahead of June election.

Ontario voters head to the polls in a provincial election this June, and Huron-Bruce Tory MPP Lisa Thompson says her party is ready.

She says the blueprint for the Progressive Conservative agenda includes addressing rural concerns that are important to local voters.

Thompson points out that PC leader Patrick Brown has toured the province extensively, and what he learned has become part of "The Peoples' Guarantee".

She says Brown insisted that issues outside the mainstream, but still of importance to Ontarians be included in the blueprint.

Thompson notes that Brown has a way of connecting with voters, and believes he is well-positioned to lead the party to power this summer.
