Terriers Get Stung by Hornets

The Subaru of Orillia Terriers end 2017 on a quiet note.
Dawson Foerster gets a hat trick for the Alliston Hornets in a 10-2 win over the Terriers Saturday night.
Orillia did keep pace with Alliston in the first 20 minutes.
Both teams exchanging goals with the Hornets coming out with a 3-2 lead after one period.
Alliston broke it open in the second period with 4 goals from Foerster (his second of the game), Ben Beauseart (1 goal, 2 assists), Mitch Livingston (1 goal, 2 assists), and Joe Teofilo (1 goal, 1 assist).
Foester scored his third on the night while short-handed off a bad giveaway in the Terriers end.
Issac Fazackerley netted a pair while Parker Simpson made 24 saves for the Hornets (24-8-0-1).
Joey Moir and Nevin King replied for the Terriers (3-28-0-0) while Derek Haourt stopped 41 shots.
Power plays saw Alliston go 2-for-3, Orillia were 0-for-8.
The next game for the Terriers is this Thursday night when they travel to Stayner to battle the Siskins.
