Kings Put Away Terriers

Orillia could not make early lead stick, 3 Penetang players each scored twice in win.


A strong start was not enough for the struggling Subaru of Orillia Terriers.
 
The visiting Penetang Kings overcame an early 3-1 deficit and went on to beat the Terriers 9-3 on Wednesday night.
 
Orillia took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Nevin King (1 goal, 1 assist) and Luke Charlebois (1 goal, 1 assist).
 
After Will Skalosky made 3-1 for the Terriers (3-27-0-0) in the second, Penetang went on to score 4 times in that period for a 5-3 lead.
 
The Kings (16-13-0-2) would add 4 more in the third period.
 
Nick Sammons, Ben Sly (3 points), and Michael Redick (3 points) each scored twice for the Kings.
 
Will Redick collected 3 assists while Jason Cumbo made 24 saves in the victory
 
Derek Haourt stopped 43 shots for the Terriers.
 
The Terriers head down to Alliston for their next game Friday night against the Hornets.
