Power Play Lifts Otters to Win over Terriers

Orillia fires 40 shots but Huntsville scores 3 with man advantage to come away with shutout victory.


Getting pucks to the net was not the problem for the Subaru of Orillia Terriers.
 
Getting one in the net was.
 
Mitchell Jones made 40 saves as the Huntsville Otters blanked the Terriers 5-0 on Saturday night.
 
Three of the goals came on the power play, the other was scored short-handed.
 
Tyler Gervais-Rolfe and Bo Peltier each had a goal and an assist while Alex Brisson collected 3 assists for the Otters (8-18-1-1).
 
Derek Haourt stopped 42 of the 47 shots he faced for the Terriers (3-22-0-0).
 
Orillia finished 0-for-6 with the man advantage compared to 3-for-8 for Huntsville.
 
The next game for the Terriers is Sunday night when they visit Mitchell to play the Hawks of the PJHL's Pollock Division.
