Barrie | by Ken Hashizume

Lipanov and Willms each with two, Lazarev with 38 saves in 5-0 win over Oshawa.

A strong start to the game for the Barrie Colts.
They scored 4 times in the first period and went on to beat the Oshawa Generals 5-0 Saturday afternoon.
The goals came off Alexey Lipanov and Jason Willms with 2 each.
Lipanov's first goal ignited the teddy bear toss at the Barrie Molson Centre.

Andrei Svechnikov collected two assists in the game -- his first points since coming back from an injury.
The game featured two of the most penalized teams in the Ontario Hockey League.
Boths teams combined for 18 minutes in penalties in the game.
Barrie went 0-for-3 on the power play while Oshawa finished 0-for-1.
Leo Lazarev stopped all 38 shots for the shutout -- his third of the season and second this season against the Generals (13-16-2-0).
Kyle Keiser came in relief of starter Cole Ceci (10 saves) after the third Barrie goal and went on to make 23 saves.
The next game for the Colts (17-9-2-1) is Sunday afternoon when they travel to North Bay to take on the Battalion.
