Ribbon Cut On Blyth Brook Bridge

Blyth | by Fadi Didi

Opening of bridge to be celebrated at Blyth's Cowbell Brewery.

The ribbon has been cut on the newest bridge along the Guelph-To-Goderich (G2G) Rail Trail.

Members of G2G, along with officials from Huron County, attended the bridge's official opening Monday.

The bridge was the second-to-last overpass along the 127 kilometre trail needing completion in Huron County.

A bridge is still needed to cross the Maitland River, southwest of Auburn.

Regional Tourism Organization 4 (RTO4) describes the bridge as another tourism draw to Blyth, which has seen several major landmarks develop in recent years.

In June, Blyth's Memorial Hall officially opened, following a major revitalization.

Cowbell Brewing Company transformed Blyth's sound end with their official opening in August, drawing craft beer enthusiasts from near and far.
