Motorist Caught Going High

A Scarborough man is charged with stunt driving, and carrying cocaine and marijuana.


Being high in more ways than one.
 
Huronia West OPP clocked a vehicle going east on Highway 26 in Springwater Township at 138 kilomtres an hour in an 80 zone Sunday afternoon around 2.
 
The officer stopped the vehicle and a further investigation turned up a quantity of marijuana, cocaine, and an open container of alcohol.
 
A 38-year-old man from Scarborough is facing a number of charges including drug possession, refusing to provide a breath sample, and stunt driving.
 
His vehicle was impounded and license suspended.
 
He will be making two court appearances, one on November 28th in Collingwood on the drug charges, and the other on December 19th in Wasaga Beach for the stunt driving charge.
