The town of Wasaga Beach is holding its Remembrance Day ceremony today (Sunday).
The service at the cenotaph at town hall is always held on the Sunday prior to Remembrance Day since the town doesn't have it's own legion and requires help from neighbouring legions.
Members of these legions are otherwise busy on November 11th with ceremonies and parades in their own communities.
The parade to the cenotaph starts at 2 o'clock this afternoon followed by the service at the cenotaph.
After that, there is a reception at the Wasaga Stars Arena.
