More people looking for work push level up, while Ontario rate falls.

Unemployment in the area rose, while the level of unemployment in Ontario fell in October.

Figures from the Four County Labour Market Planning board show the unemployment level from Tobermory to Stratford was up .2 percent to an even 4 percent.

Provincially, the level was down .3% to 5.7%.

For Grey, Bruce, Huron and Perth counties, there were nearly 33 hundred new full time jobs added last month, and 3 thousand part time jobs.

At the same time, more people were looking for work which resulted in the slight increase in the jobless rate.
