Halloween Candy Tampering In Barrie

Police in Barrie have received a report of Halloween candy tampering.

Police in Barrie have received a report of Halloween candy tampering.

They say an 11 year old boy got an individually wrapped cherry flavoured Tootsie Roll that had an unknown pill in it.

The boy had been trick-or-treating in the area of Cundles Road West near Emma King Elementary School.

Police say the candy will be sent to the Centre of Forensic Science for examination.

A reminder to parents to check your child's treats.
