Goderich Man Breaks Into Literary World

Goderich | by Fadi Didi

Author of "Psychic Summer Camp" wrote his first novel over 30 days.

A Goderich man is breaking into the literary world, with a new kids book.

Daryle Henry penned "Psychic Summer Camp" in 2008, during National Novel Writing Month.

The promotion requires would-be authors to complete an entire work during the month of November.

When the novel is completed, a not-for-profit provides a coupon to have one copy of the book printed.

Henry decided recently to print several hundred copies, for local distribution.

Psychic Summer Camp is a story about a boy, Lincoln, who is pressured to attend a strange camp when his parents are suddenly called away for business.

Henry says another book is currently in the works, and has been for several years.

Meantime, Psychic Summer Camp is now available at Finchers in Goderich, with an audiobook version expected before Christmas.
