The Reeve of North Huron says he would welcome the third annual Festival of Wizardry back to Blyth.
Thousands descended on the North Huron town for the Harry Potter-themed event Saturday, despite several changes to the event in recent weeks and months.
The festival was originally slated to run in Goderich, but organizers decided, after over nine thousand tickets were sold, to move the event to Blyth.
Despite the change, Reeve Neil Vincent says the community was a zoo of Potter enthusiasts, enjoying the town and patronizing businesses.
Festivities were originally scheduled for three days, but ultimately shortened to two.
Those two days were shortened even further, when strong winds and heavy rains forced organizers to cancel the Sunday events.
Despite the cancellation, Vincent says attendees appreciated the quality of the festival.
The third annual Festival of Wizardry is slated for September 2018.
