Downed trees and power outages across the region after a rain and wind storm Sunday.

Rain and high winds causing damage around parts of Ontario Sunday.

Most areas in Dufferin and Simcoe affected by power outages were restored last night.

There are still some small pockets that don't have power today, and Orangeville Hydro is reporting there are no outages in town.

Some areas near Highway 9 and Highway 50, and near Schomberg are still without power and Hydro One says it will be restored by this evening.

The wind knocked trees down on some power lines and broken branches and tree trunks were reported across the region.
