Patriots Bury Terriers
Butchart with 5 points for reigning Pollock champs.
Rotary Place continues to be a house of horrors for the Subaru of Orillia Terriers.
The reigning Pollock division champions the Mount Forest Patriots paid a visit Saturday night and came out with an 11-0 win over the Terriers.
The Patriots (8-2-0-0) were up 2-0 in the second period when they exploded for 5 goals in a span of 4:50.
Mount Forest's offense was led by Blair Butchart who had 2 goals and 3 assists.
Klayton Hoelscher had a hat trick and finished with 4 points while David Lobsinger made 23 saves for the shutout.
Orillia had only 13 skaters to start the game and lost goaltender Kurtis Stacey (21 saves) to injury at the 5:08 mark of the second period.
He was replaced by Morgan Penwell (15 saves).
The loss is the Terriers' seventh straight at home to start the season (2-8-0-0).
Mount Forest finished 2-for-3 on the power play, Orillia were 0-for-4.
The next game for the Terriers is this coming Friday night when they travel to Penetanguishene to play the Kings.
