Tenders Unsealed For Goderich Ag Park Redevelopment

Goderich | by Peter Jackson

Bids will be revealed at next council meeting, October 23rd.

Tenders for work on various aspects of the $3.2 million revitalization of Agricultural Park in Goderich have been opened.

The bids were unsealed by municipal staff during Monday afternoon's Council meeting.

Work includes developing a soccer pitch, a playground, a skate park, three ball diamonds and a pavilion.

Funding received a major boost last month, with the $250 thousand win in the national Kraft-Heinz Project Play contest.

Ag Park Revitalization Committee Chair Leah Noel told us at that point, the win had pushed community fundraising beyond the $500 thousand goal set by the town.

The committee will review the bids, with a report to come before Council on October 23rd.
