A Goderich grocer is collecting food, ahead of Thanksgiving.
In the days leading up to the long weekend, Zehrs will have a donation bin set up near the check-out.
Manager Josh Durnin says the bin has already begun overflowing, with donations taken daily to the Salvation Army's Suncoast Citadel.
In 2016, Durnin says Zehrs Ontario raised 37 thousand pounds of food for various charities.
Following the Thanksgiving weekend, Manager Todd Stanbury says staff at Zehrs will be organizing a beach clean-up on the Lake Huron shoreline.
$10 donation bags will be we be assembled for anyone able to donate.
The food drive runs until Friday.
