There was a cooling in August in the red-hot real estate market.
Re-sale homes in the area from Midland around the bay to Meaford dropped from last year's record-setting numbers last month.
The number of homes changing hands was down 34% year-over-year, and was below the ten-year average for the area.
However, 2017 has been the second-busiest year for sales to date, with more than 2200 homes being bought and sold.
The realtors' association says the number of properties and homes available for sale is at a near-record low.
