Dodgers Win 1st Bluewater Title

In the 10th, Durham managed to score 2 runs to get the win.

Doylie Lantz scored on a wild pitch and then Brady Becker stroked a triple to score Dean Nixon.

Ty Sebastian mowed Wiarton down in the bottom of the 10th with 3 strikeouts to give the Dodgers their first championship!

In the 9th inning with 2 out and a runner, Wiarton hit one to right field. Dean Nixon made the catch for 2nd out as the runner at third base tagged. Nixon threw a rope to the plate where Jason Paige caught the ball and hung on for the third out in a collision.

Billy Carson started for Durham and went 5 innings giving up 4 hits, striking out 4 and walking 3 while giving up 2 runs.

Carson left with a 3-2 lead.

Sebastian came in and picked up the win after Wiarton tied it in the bottom of the 7th with 2. Sebastian gave up 2 hits and struck out 12.

At the plate, Sebastian went 2 for 4 with a solo homer in the 6th to tie it at 2-2.
