The GM BluePlan Hawks needed 6 runs in the last inning to tie the game & send it to extra innings.




The Hawks played to a 2W - 1L record and finished 2nd in their pool, which earned them a spot in the semifinal vs the #1 team in the opposite pool.  

In the semifinal, the Hawks entered the final inning trailing 16 - 10 with the final at bat. Never giving up, the team persisted and scored an exciting 17-16 victory by scoring 7 runs in the final inning.
The win sent the Hawks into the Final versus Saugeen Shores, the tournament's #1 seeded team.

The Hawks again entered the final inning and their final at bat trailing 11 - 5.

The team needed 6 runs to extend the contest and got exactly that sending the game into extra innings and going on to a tremendous, well earned 12 - 11 victory to claim the Tier 1 Major Rookie WOBA Championship banner.
