Indians Go Up 2-0 on Kings

Akwesasne rallies from 4-0 down to beat Orillia 10-9.

Despite a strong start, the Orillia Experience Nissan Kings find themselves down 2-0 in their opening round Junior B lacrosse series.
 
Nevin King scored three times in the first period to give Orillia a 4-0 lead.
 
But the Akwesasne Indians stormed back for the second straight game and won Game 2 on Sunday by a score of 10-9.
 
Orillia took leads of 6-4 and 7-6 after two periods of play.
 
Akwesasne rallied with 4 goals in the third, 3 to start the period, to put the game away for the Indians.
 
King finished with 4 points while Matthew Campbell had 2 goals and an assist for the Kings.
 
The Indians were led by Skye Sunday with 3 goals and 3 assists.
 
Orillia went 1-for-4 on the power play, Akwesasne were 0-for-2.
 
Game 3 of the best-of-five goes Friday night in Akwesasne.
