Kings Fall to Ironheads

Campbell with 9 points in loss to West Durham, loss by Orillia is their 4th straight.

The West Durham Ironheads are not making things easy for the Orillia Experience Nissan Kings.
The Kings fell 14-12 to the Ironheads in Junior B lacrosse action on Thursday night.
The loss is the 4th straight and 5 of their last 6 for the Kings (8-10-0)
West Durham opened up with a 5-1 first period lead before Orillia clawed their way back in the second period to trail 9-7.
Down 13-9 in the third, the Kings scored 3 straight goals to cut the deficit to one with 2:27 left in the period.
Sean Westly had 4 goals and 2 assists while Aiden Conlon and Dylan Tullet had 3 goals and an assist each for the Ironheads (9-8-1).
The Kings were led by Matthew Campbell with 5 goals and 4 assists and Tyler Conn with 3 goals and 5 assists.
Orillia was strong on the power play going 3-for-4 while West Durham finished 0-for-1.
The next game for the Kings is Saturday night when they host the Newmarket Saints at Rotary Place at 8 PM.
