Road Rage Leads to Assault

Barrie | by Ian MacLennan

Slowpoke motorist angers another driver.

Road rage resulted in one man being charged and another taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Barrie Police say they received numerous calls yesterday(THURS) morning about trouble in a parking lot on Ferndale Drive South.

It seems one driver was angry at another motorist for driving too slowly.

The angry driver rear-ended another vehicle, then a verbal dust-up turned physical.

A 59 year old Innisfil man was injured and a 54 year old Barrie man was charged with assault.
