Holiday Monday impact on public transit and garbage collection.

CLOSED HOLIDAY MONDAY(May 22)


Government offices and municipal buildings

Banks  

No mail delivery   

Beer stores-some agency stores – locally-owned retailers that sell alcohol through contract with the LCBO in small communities – may be open for normal business hours.  Some stores stay open later on Sunday.

LCBO,  but many cottage-area locations may remain open later on Friday and Saturday.

Most grocery stores

 

OPEN

Some malls including Orillia Square Mall- 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tanger Outlet Mall- 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

PUBLIC TRANSIT

Orillia/Barrie:  None

GO Transit will run a Saturday schedule.

 

GARBAGE COLLECTION

 

Orillia/Barrie:  No garbage collection; collection will occur ONE DAY LATER for the rest of the week.

Simcoe County:  Regular collection day
