Warren Foegele scored the winner 10 minutes into overtime for the Otters who won the best of 7; 4-3 and now advance to the Western Conference Final against the Owen Sound Attack.

With Erie leading 4-3 late in the 3rd period, Foegele took a penalty which allowed Mitchell Stephens to tie the game for London and send it to overtime.

Ivan Lodnia, Darren Raddysh, Anthony Cirelli and Alex DeBrincat also scored for Erie who will host the Attack in the opening 2 games of the Western Final Friday & Saturday night.

Janne Kuokkanen, Evan Bouchard and Cliff Pu had the other goals for the defending Memorial Cup Champion Knights who were playing their 14th game of the post season.

Troy Timpano started in net for Erie but was replaced by Joseph Murdaca after allowing 3 goals in a span of 2 minutes & 11 seconds in the 1st period.

Games 3 & 4 of the Western Conference Final will be in Owen Sound Monday and Wednesday of next week at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre
