Police say the Brockton man was impaired when he drove his truck into Lake Simcoe.

A Brockton man is facing impaired charges after driving into Lake Simcoe.
Orillia OPP say around 3 AM Sunday, they were called to West Street South at Olive Crescent to a report of a Chevy Sierra Pickup truck that was partially submerged in water.
Officers add the truck was 50 to 60 yards from the shore.
The lone occupant of the truck -- a 28 year old Brockton man -- has been charged with operating a motor vehicle -- over 80mgs of alcohol.
He was also treated for minor injures.
He will be in a Orillia court room later this month.
