Knights Regroup To Beat Huskies

Knights of Meaford 7 Sequin Huskies 3

The Knights fell behind 2-0 by the 7 minute mark of the first period and then rallied to score 5 consecutive goals in a 16 minute span staring midway through the 1st to grab a healthy lead

Matej Dejdar and Anthony Barnes opened the scoring for Sequin before Alexander Naskov got the Knights on the board with a power play marker.

Just 38 seconds after the Naskov goal, Derek Boudreault tied the score with his first marker since returning to the club.

Harley Haggarty gave the Knights a 3-2 lead before the end of the first period.

Five minutes into the 2nd period, Kyle Stevens and Callum Queenan scored 26 seconds apart to extend the Knights lead to 5-2 .

Connor Annett and Stevens with his 2nd of the night rounded out the Meaford scoring.

Tomas Ocovsky had the final goal for Sequin

With the win, the Knights have won 6 of their last 7 heading into a match Saturday night at Parry Sound

Sunday afternoon Meaford plays their final home game before the Christmas break when they host Almaguin at 3 pm

The Huskies are now on a 3 game losing streak and will try and snap that skid Friday night at Sturgeon Falls against the Lynx
