Heathcote Runner Too Young For Worlds

National Cross Country Championships

in Kingston

Hannah Woodhouse of Heathcote won the bronze in the Junior Women's race in a field of 63.

However, because Woodhouse is still 19, she does not qualify to represent Canada at the NACAC championships or at the World cross country championships in Uganda in 2017.
The top 6 finishers are placed on the National team but must be born in 1998 or later.

Woodhouse raced under the Speed River Team based out of Guelph with a new coach, Dave Scott Thomas.
