2016 OFSAA Boys' Golf Championship

at Saugeen Golf Club

Today is day 1 of the two day championship



The OFSAA Girls Golf Championship is at Windsor





The annual Bob Atkinson Memorial Cross Country Meet is today at Saugeen Bluffs.

The Bluewater West Elementary meet is conducted at Saugeen Bluffs near Paisley

Six divisions of runners will compete through the day with the first race set for 11 am



The Bluewater East Elementary meet is tomorrow at 4th Canadian Division Training Centre near Meaford.





Bluewater North Girls' Basketball

Grey Highlands Lions 43 Georgian Bay Vikings 37  

The Lions used pressure defence to overcome strong outside shooting from Georgian Bay.

Beginning Saturday November 5th, the Wiarton Rock will be starting the ' FUN Skate Program' from 10-11am at Wiarton Arena.

Girls and boys ages 5-12 are welcome to join the 6 week mentor program for $99.

The Brokerlink Insurance Grey Bruce Major Curling League is looking for a few more teams for the upcoming season.

Currently 8 teams have committed to play,

Games are played on Wednesday nights with league play tentatively set to  start on November 3rd.

Games are hosted at a participating home clubs, 2 different clubs are used each Wednesday night.

A round robin schedule is played with the top 8 teams advancing to a 3 game playoff around the end of January to determine the Major League champion.

The Caught Looking Ball team is heading to the World Championships in December.

On Saturday, they will be holding a fundraising spaghetti dinner and comedy night at Holland_Chatsworth School.

There are 2 dinner seatings; one at 5:30 and then another at 7:30 pm followed by the show

Tickets for dinner are $10 for adults and $7 for kids.

The comedy show is $20 per person.
