The Huron County museum will be transformed into a wizarding world, in support of local food banks.
Anticipation is gathering for a Harry Potter-themed fundraiser in October, organized by the Huron Food Action Network.
Food Systems Coordinator Nathan Swartz says a mock-up poster on Facebook preceding the event's announcement generated huge interest.
In the four days since the event has been scheduled, Swartz says over 400 of the roughly 2,000 tickets available have been sold.
The event will be chock full of references to the blockbuster Harry Potter series.
Swartz says the train within the museum will be transformed into the Hogwartz Express, while witches and wizard will give misguided tours and vendors sell products from the films.
The 1st annual "Harry Potter and the Transfigured Town" event runs at the Huron County Museum October 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m..
Proceeds benefit the Huron Food Action Network.
