London Wins Robertson Cup Over IceDogs

 

Ontario Hockey League Championship

London Knights 1 Niagara IceDogs 0
( The Knights swept the Robertson Cup Championship 4-0 )



The London Knights completed a 4 game sweep of the Niagara IceDogs winning 1-0 in St Catharines to capture the Ontario Hockey League championship.

Christian Dvorak scored the only goal in the game as London won their 9th straight game on the road in the playoffs.

Netminder Tyler Parsons stopped 18 shots as London secured their 13th straight playoff victory, an OHL post season record.

The Knights have not lost since April 1st when they were defeated 4-3 in overtime by the Owen Sound Attack in the first round of the playoffs.

Since that loss, London eliminated Owen Sound in Game 6 and swept the Kitchener Rangers, the Erie Otters and Niagara.
    
London now advances to the Memorial Cup in Red Deer, Alberta
