It's a lofty goal for organizers looking to Raise A Little Health charity hockey game.
The annual event is into its third year, and money raised goes to benefit the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich, the Seaforth-based Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health and the YMCA's Strong Kids program.
Huron-Bruce Conservative MP Ben Lobb tells us this year's fundraising goal is $50,000.
Lobb tells Bayshore Broadcasting News about $10,000 has already been raised toward this years goal.
Last year's event featured NHL stars and Varna natives Ryan and Cal O'Reilly of the Buffalo Sabres, Nick Spaling of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Joey Hishon of the Colorado Avalanche.
Lobb says a special guest coach, and former Toronto Blue Jay, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Both O'Reilly's along with Boyd Deveraux of Detroit and Dave McLlwain of Philadelphia have already committed to this year.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 Raise A Little Health charity hockey game, scheduled for Thursday, July 21st at the Maitland Recreation Centre.
Tickets can be purchased at Lobb's constituency offices, Goderich YMCA, and AMGH.
Lobb expects this year to sell out.
