Petes Beat Colts to Avoid Home-&-Home Sweep

Peterborough comes back scoring 4 unanswered goals, 3 in the 3rd.


The Barrie Colts were not able to complete a sweep of their home-and-home series with the Petes.
 
Peterborough scored 4 unanswered goals -- 3 of them in the 3rd -- to beat the Colts 4-2 on Tuesday.
 
Barrie took a 2-0 first period lead on goals by Dylan Sadowy and Greg DiTomaso.
 
Kevin Labanc collected another assist and now has an OHL-leading 125 points on the season.
 
Daniel Nikandrov, Greg Betzold, Jonathan Ang, and Eric Cornel scored for the Petes.
 
David Ovsjannikov made 33 saves for the Colts while Matthew Mancina stopped 29 for the Petes.
 
The next game for the Colts is Wednesday night when they travel to Ottawa to play the 67s.
