(Hanover) -

Hanover Heritage Square will soon be home to an Eat Well Market.

Spokesperson Rosemary Crick says the Eat Well Market will be a true farmers market from field to fork.

This food only market has a high emphasis on organics -- and vendors will sell both fresh and prepared fruits, vegetables and meats.

Some examples include Montreal prepared bagels and Mexican and Indian dishes.

For the last four years, the Eat Well Market operated out of Walkerton.

Crick says it was time to expand the operation and Hanover was a obvious choice.

She says the Hanover location will not only provide the market with higher exposure and more parking -- but it will still be close enough to Walkerton for their regular customers.

Hanover Economic Development Officer Savanna Schaus says it's great news for Hanover since the town has been pursuing a farmer's market for years.

Schaus also calls Heritage Square an ideal location since it is in the heart of Hanover and will provide the market with major exposure.

The Eat Well Market will operate every Friday from Noon until 4 PM from June 3rd until October 7th.

To date there are 10 committed vendors.
