Boulter Breaks Record

Aquatic Club Results


Swimmers from the Owen Sound Aquatic Club participated in two significant swim meets last weekend.

James and William Boulter, along with Joanne Diemert, competed at the Speedo Eastern Canadian Open in Montreal.  

James swam a personal best in both the 100 m Butterfly and the 50 m backstroke. He also qualified for finals in the 50 m backstroke, placing 19th overall in that event.  

William posted two personal best times and broke 2 long course club records in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke.

Joanne swam four races and had personal bests in the 200 m Breaststroke and the 100 m Butterfly.

Participating at the Swim Ontario Winter Short Course Festival Championship, Mark Sgro, Quinton Rodgers and Lauren Anstett each swam best times in all of their races. 

Highlights include Mark Sgro who placed 6th in the 13 year old boys 50 m freestyle. 

Lauren was 12th in the 11 year old girls 100 m back
