WOAA Bantam To Tyke

 

Minor Hockey

WOAA Bantam

The Township of Chatsworth "Air Tech Mechanical" Bantam Rep Rebels lost to Walkerton 10 to 2 in WOAA league playoffs.  

Carson English scored both goals for the Rebels and both goals assisted by Austin McComb.




Peewee Girls

The TCDMHA Chatsworth Legion Branch 464 Rebels had their first OWHA Playdown game tonight in Keady.

The Rebels had a win on home ice against the South Bruce Blades.  
Once again the girls were quick to get on the scoreboard with Abby Vokes scoring early in the first unassisted.  

There was a lot of back and fourth play against the Blades but finally Jessica Davidson was able to sink on in the net assisted by Kloey Jex.  

The Rebels were shooting lots on the South Bruce goalie and she was strong in her net but Georgia Rutter was able to get another goal assisted by Jex and Davidson.  

Summer Roney scored late in the second assisted by Rutter.

In the third period Emily Meuser scored assisted by Rutter and Roney.

Grace Vokes was able to keep the net clean for the Shut-Out and get the win, 5-0.



Atom Girls

The Chatsworth "Desboro Lion's Club" Rebels defeated Walkerton 4-2 in OWHA Provincial Playdown action Tuesday night in Walkerton.  

Chatsworth goals were scored by Lyndsay Cumming, Jolie McKnight (2) and Grace Madill.

Walkerton goals were scored by Alyssa Keip and Claire Yates.



Novice

The Township of Chatsworth Desboro Tire Novice LL#1 begin the playoffs with a big 6-0 win over the visiting Wingham Ironmen.

Goal scorers for the Rebels were Johnathon Farmer with 2, Neil Gilchrist with 2, Carter Frook and Matthew LaFond with singles.





Tyke

The Owen Sound Quik Lube Tyke MD Jr. Attack fell 3-1 to the Flesherton Eagles tonight.  

Despite a valiant push by the Attack in the late stages of the game Flesherton held on and added the 3rd goal, an empty-netter.  

Ryan Cranny got the loan goal for the Attack while Tyler Thompson and Lucas Sarvis got the helpers.

The Quik Lube Jr. Attack host the Honeywood Hurricanes on Friday night, 7pm at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre.
