City of Barrie construction worker was hit by a car.


(Barrie) -

A City of Barrie worker is now in stable condition in a Toronto hospital after being struck by a vehicle.

The 65 year old was working as a flag man on a construction crew at the intersection of Mulcaster and Penetang Street when he was hit by a car around 10:30 AM on Wednesday.

Police say the driver of the car was a man in his 90's.

The investigation is ongoing.
