Owen Sound Hockey player Connor Roberts has been selected by Hockey Canada to play at the World Youth Olympics next month in Lillehammer, Norway.

Roberts, the captain of the Grey Bruce Highlands Wes for Youth Minor Midgets, will depart for a training camp early next month in Calgary before heading to Norway with the Canadian team.

A student at St Mary's High School in Owen Sound, Roberts has drawn significant interest from Ontario Hockey League teams in advance of this year's Priority Selection.

The World Youth Olympics run February 12th to 21st.

Roberts spoke to Fred Wallace about the Selection process and the opportunity ahead.
