The Goderich Flyers are in for a test as they travel to Kincardine in one of three games on the Western Junior C Hockey League schedule.
The Flyers tend to play better on the road, where they've posted both of their wins so far this season.
They're 0-and-5 at the Maitland Recreation Centre.
While respecting the first-place Bulldogs' 8-1-and-1 record, Flyers' head Coach David Errington tells Bayshore Broadcasting Sports his team tends to bring its best in Friday night road games.
The Flyers' second win -- 9-5 at Hanover -- came on a Friday night earlier this month.
Errington observes that his team skates better away from MRC, while at home they tend to overthink what should be straightforward hockey.
He voiced his frustration after last Saturday's 6-2 home-ice loss to Mount Forest.
Friday's game is the first of back-to-back road games for the Flyers, who visit Mitchell on Saturday night.
That game marks the debut of defenceman Wyatt Carey, who will likely be paired up with Morgan Benneweis.
Carey had been serving a three-game suspension when he was acquired by the Flyers from Hanover on October 9th.
Friday's Flyers and Bulldogs game is an 8:30 PM faceoff at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
Two other games have Walkerton hosting Mitchell at 7:20 PM, and Hanover at Wingham at the Wescast Community Complex at 8 PM.
