We are still four and a half months away from the Federal Election, but the Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce has already announced an all candidates debate for the riding.
It will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 7 PM in the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in the Owen Sound.
The Chamber is hosting the event, which is scheduled to run until 9 PM.
The Federal election is tenatively set for October 19th, although it has not officially been called by Prime Minister Steven Harper and could be called for an earlier date.
In Bruce Grey Owen Sound, Conservative incumbent Larry Miller is being challenged by NDP candidate David McLaren, Kimberley Love for the Liberals and Joseph Mikos Schwarz who plans to run for the Seniors Party of Canada.
The Green party in Bruce Grey Owen Sound has not yet picked a candidate for the election.
