Hornets Beat Terriers

Two goals, 52 seconds apart late in the 2nd period help Alliston take a 2-0 series lead.

The Jim Wilson Orillia Terriers find themselves in a hole.
The visiting Alliston Hornets are in control of their Georgian Mid-Ontario semi final series.
The Hornets scored two late second period goals 52 seconds apart turning a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 lead.
They went on to beat the Terriers 4-2 on Saturday and take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven.
3 Alliston players -- Jacob Tuck, Joe Cochrane, and Connor Annett -- each got a goal and an assist.
Brendan Spencer had the other Hornets goal while Nick Arcan finished with 2 assists.
Jacob Beard and Jordan Felix scored for Orillia.
Hornets' goaltender Tyler Brindle made 24 saves while his counterpart Gordie Weiss stopped 42 shots.
Orillia went 1-for-4 on the power play, Alliston finished 0-for-7.
Game 3 goes Sunday night in Alliston.
