Colts End 2014 by Beating the Bulls
With 4 points, Lebanc extends point streak to 21 games tying him for the club record.
The Barrie Colts finish 2014 with a bang.
Kevin Lebanc celebrated New Year's Eve with a four-point night as the Colts downed the Belleville Bulls 6-1 on Wednesday night.
The 19-year-old San Jose draft pick is now tied with Bryan Little for the longest consecutive game point streak at 21.
Lebanc reached the mark with his 1st period power play goal that made it 2-0 for Barrie.
David Tomasek cut that lead in half with his goal midway through the period but it was all Colts the rest of the way.
Joseph Blandisi and Brendan Lemieux each had a pair of goals for the Colts.
Blandisi and Andrew Mangiapane also had four-point games.
Mackenzie Blackwood made 24 saves for the Colts while Charlie Graham and Connor Hicks combined to make 28 for the Bulls.
Barrie were 4-for-10 on the power play while Belleville finished 0-for-8.
The Colts play their first game of 2015 in Kingston Friday night against the Frontenacs.
