Colts Fall to Battalion

Nick Paul scores 3 for North Bay; complete OHL roundup and standings.

The North Bay Battalion were not in a thankful mood.

Nick Paul recorded a natural hat trick for the Battalion in a 4-1 win over the Barrie Colts on Thanksgiving Monday.

Zach Bratina had the other North Bay goal while Barrieā€™s lone goal came from Justin Scott.

The Battalion outshot the Colts 36-21.

The Colts travel to Kitchener this Friday to take on the Rangers.

Kitchener was also in action on Sunday and upset the Guelph Storm 6-5.

Nick Magyar scored twice for the Rangers.

Underage Connor Bunnaman, Justin Bailey, overage Liam Maaskant and Dmitrii Sergeev also scored for Kitchener

Adam Mascherin -- who was the second draft pick in the OHL Priority Selection -- added three assists in the victory

Pius Suter scored twice for Guelph.

Jason Dickinson, Tyler Boston and Ben Harpur had the other Storm goals.

Elsehwere in the OHL on Sunday --  Oshawa beat Ottawa 7-1.

Josh Sterk scored twice for the Generals who bounced back from a 4-1 loss the day before against Ottawa.

Tobias Lindberg, Cole Cassels, former Stayner Siskin Bradley Latour, Michael Dal Colle and Anthony Cirelli also scored for Oshawa who are first in the Eastern Conference

Dante Salituro continued a hot weekend for Ottawa scoring the lone goal for the 67's.

Lucas Venuto had the deciding shootout goal as the Mississauga Steelheads edged Kingston 3-2.

Josh Burnside and Bryson Cianfrone scored in regulation for Mississauga

Conor McGlynn had both goals for the Frontenacs
