Redhawks Reign

Rivermen lose Presidents Cup Final 9-7 to the Onongada Redhawks.

The Onongada Redhawks won the 2014 CLA Presidents' Cup-Canadian Senior Lacrosse Championship.  

The Redhawks overcame a 4-3 deficit after 40 minute to defeat the Six Nations Rivermen 9-7 in the Gold Medal game.  

Players of the Game were Miles Thompson for Onondaga and Wayne VanEvery for Six Nations.

Lyle Thompson of the Redhawks was named the tournament Most Valuable Player.

Earlier, the St. Albert Miners defeated the Kahnawake Mohawks 7-5 to claim the Bronze Medal.  

Players of the Game were Chris Schmidt for the Miners and Angus Goodleaf for the Mohawks.
