Attack Reassign Oshowy, Hancock

Owen Sound | by Fred Wallace

Owen Sound sends two players to affiliates, no deal for Mete yet.

The Owen Sound Attack announced following their exhibition game at Barrie that defenceman Jordan Oshowy has been assigned to Newmarket while underage forward Kevin Hancock is being sent to the Toronto Junior Canadiens

The Attack have been impressed with Hancock, and in fact, he's scheduled to suit for the exhibition games against North Bay this weekend.

Hancock was selected 88th in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

Meanwhile, the eighth selection in the draft, Victor Mete remains property of the Attack.

Owen Sound did not make a transaction to dispatch the  reluctant first rounder over the weekend.

Mete has maintained a stance that he will not report to Owen Sound.

The Attack have confirmed they will attempt to trade the defender, but to this point, no deal has been made.
