The Canadian Track and Field Championships took place from June 26th to the 29th in Moncton, New Brunswick.
The Saugeen Track and Field Club Paralympic athletes, Rick Carr, Josh Farrell, Andy Shaw, and Harry Mattiussi, took home four medals -- representing both the local track club and community.
Carr received a Gold in the high jump with a jump of 1.55m and also received Gold in the long jump with 5.14m.
Farrell had a personal best of 14.06m in the shot put and not only received Gold, but a Canadian Record in the event.
Shaw competed in the Javelin with a throw of 35.16m and received Silver. He also competed in the discus throw event, throwing 30.73m and placing 6th overall.
Mattiussi competed in the 100m and came in 7th. He also competed in the long jump and received a Bronze.
Senior athlete, Jordan Collison, ran in the 3000m Steeplechase and came 12th with a time of 9:45.87.
