Rogers with four goals in Orillia's 2nd win of Junior B Lacrosse season.

No let down by the Orillia Kings this time around.

They held on to beat Markham Friday night for their second win of the Junior B lacrosse season.

Tristan Rogers (4) and Trent Boyd (3) combined for seven goals for the Kings in a 9-7 victory over the Ironheads.

Orillia got off to a 3-0 lead in the first and managed to hang on despite getting into penalty trouble throughout the game.

Tyler Slade and Mitch Swailes had the other goals for the Kings (2-8-0).

Markham (4-6-0) got goals from Patrick Morgan (3), Cam Mancini (2), Mitchell Gustavsen, and Ryan Morrison.

Special teams played a role in the Kings win going 1 for 4 with the man advantage and killing off all 9 of the Ironheads' power play chances.

The next game for the Kings is Sunday afternoon when they host the Oakville Buzz at Rotary Place.
