Goodrow scores in OT to give North Bay a 4-3 win over Guelph to tie Finals at 1.

The OHL Championship Series is now tied at 1.

Barclay Goodrow scored at 2:30 of overtime to give the North Bay Battalion a 4-3 win over the Guelph Storm on Friday in Game 2 of the Finals.

Ben Thomson found Goodrow alone in the high slot and his quick wrist shot bounced off the right post past Storm goalie Justin Nichols.

It was the second straight night the teams had to settle things in extra time.

Nick Paul had a goal and an assist for the Battalion, while Marcus McIvor and Mathew Santos also had goals.

Robby Fabbri had a pair of goals for the Storm and Steven Trojanovic also scored.

North Bay's Jake Smith turned aside 21-of-24 shots for the win, while Nichols made 37 saves.

The Championship Series now shifts to North Bay for Game 3 on Tuesday.
