Colts Rally to beat Kingston

Barrie rallies beat Frontenacs, Guelph and Belleville also win in the OHL.

Another come-from-behind win for the Barrie Colts.

Garrett Hooey's goal with 4:42 left in the third period proved to be the winner as the Colts defeated Kingston 7-5 in the OHL on Wednesday night.

It is Hooey's second game-winner in the last three games.

The Frontenacs (37-23-3-3) opened up the game with 2-0 and 3-1 first period leads.

Barrie would storm back with two goals in the second period and four more in the third.

Andreas Athanasiou had three assists for the Colts (35-28-1-2) who move to within two points of Sudbury for 4th place in the OHL's Eastern Conference.

Kingston outshot Barrie 46-38.

The Colts play their final road game on Thursday night in Ottawa.

There were two other games  on Wednesday night.

The Guelph Storm hammered the Kitchener Rangers 7-3 -- Brock McGinn scored a hat trick for the Storm while Jason Dickinson had a four point night.

The Belleville Bulls also upset Peterborough 6-2. 

Former Owen Sound Attack forward Cameron Brace had a four goal night for the Bulls.

Belleville is now just one point back of Mississauga and Ottawa for the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference
