Kings Sting Hornets in OT

Alliston scores late to force OT, but Fischer scores game winner for Penetang.

A thrilling finish in Game 4 of the Georgian Mid-Ontario Junior C Hockey Final.

Matt Fischer's second goal of the game helped Penetang beat Alliston 5-4 in the first extra period on Wednesday night.

Down 4-3 in the third, Dakota Brooks scored for the Hornets with seven seconds left to send the game past regulation.

David Leblanc put Alliston up 3-2 seven-and-a-half minutes into the third period.

Then Fischer tied it up at the 12:40 mark and three minutes later Hayden Cole scored on the power play to give Penetang the lead.

Jack Scanlan collected four assists for the Kings -- three coming on the last three Penetang goals.

Ryan Shaw and Tyler Marchand rounded out the scoring for the Kings.

Tanner Dockerty and Mark O'Donnell also got goals for the Hornets.

Kings goaltender Adam Redgate made 32 saves while his counterpart Tyler Brindle stopped 39 shots including seven in OT.

The Kings take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series and can clinch the title with a win in Game 5 on Friday in Penetanguishene
